The Blue Hen has moved. They have fitted out a new, larger location on West King, and have closed their MLK location. They now serve breakfast and lunch at 223 King Street and are open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursdays through Mondays.
The Blue Hen Café serves fresh, locally sourced cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast options include breakfast burritos, blue crab quiche, corned beef hash and eggs, and chicken biscuits.
The lunch menu at The Blue Hen offers a variety of Southern choices, including pulled pork and biscuits, fried green tomato tacos, a datil BBQ Cuban sandwich, and jerk chicken Cobb salad.
This unique café is at 223 King Street, west of U.S. 1. The restaurant is open from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday through Monday. Full breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lunch with a limited breakfast menu is after 11:00 a.m. In addition to warm and cold beverages, The Blue Hen serves wine and beer.
